What should be in UberTwitter

I’ve been testing UberTwitter for a while and there are some good features in the pre release but the there are still some features that I wish that had and here is a list of all the features that would make @UberTwiter the best twitter for any mobile platform.

.More image services such as YFrog
.More URL shortner like Goo.gl,Tiny.url….etc
.In line Browsing for web pages
.Push notification
.Themes or Backgrounds
.Option to save the picture to phone
.View a video in the app or opens the media player
.Internal bug fixes like to send tweets a little faster
.Round the edges more
.Panels like TweetDeck…etc

If UberTwitter puts these features in UberTwiter the it would be the best twitter app out there without a doubt not even an iphone app can beat it.

Ubertwitter should be available at the start of next year

I got word that the popular twitter client for Blackberry Ubertwitter is going to be released sometime at the begining of the year so be on the look out and I will keep you posted.

Ubertwitter Review

Here is a good review that I think people are waiting for the ubertwitter review. I know that this is just a beta and all the features aren’t in there and some of the new ones are working perfectly so just keep it in mind when I say something. So let’s go and be sure to comment if I say anything wrong. I am going to give you a quick overview of what the app is.

Overview:
This is one of the most advanced twitter for a mobile platform and the blackberry. It is also the best looking I’ve seen. Now I’m going to break down the pros and cons and let me tell you now there are more pros then cons.

Pros:

.Update profile icon
.Bubble layout
.Uberbar
.Geo-location

Cons:
.Battery drain
.Memory hog
.Some features are not working now

So this is my final summary of the app. Like I said before it is one of the best twitter apps out there and tons of features too many I didn’t even post all of them. New YFrog app available for blackberry

there is yet another twitter app available for the blackberry and I think you guys all know it YFrog. More popularly known as the picture uploading service for twitter know they now only have a pic app but a full twitter app. It is not the most advanced twitter app ever just a very basic twitter app. In time it looks like it has a lot of potential. It is available for versions 4.2+ unlike some twitter apps for blackberry SEESMIC!!!!. So if you don’t care about all those advanced features that ubertwitter has then go check out YFrog.

Ubertwitter beta-6 review coming tomorrow

Ubertwitter Beta-6
Looks like the people at Ubertwitter finally released a new version of ubertwitter even though it’s a beta it’s still a new version. This version is supposed to have lots of features but so far I only I have seen two of them three if you include the new interface.
They are supposed to release the new version some time this month but no word on an actual release date. I will post the links and some pics for you guys if you love twitter and have a blackberry go check it out.

DataBackup
Well the name tells it all it backs up all you messages,contacts,task,email… This program is in alpha I think but I know they are accepting testers to test the product so USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. This also uses a lot of data so make sure you have an unlimited data plan.

BeejiveIM
This is a great program if you use multiple services like AIM,Googletalk and FacebookIM. It has a clean iphone like interface very nice. There is a new release candidate out so I will post a link to that and the current version NOTE: I have the release candidate it is pretty stable can be slow here and there but pretty good.

Kisses I would say is a app of it’s own it’s a spyware finder,hidden process finder,and much more. It’s a really simple lite app that does what it says. I will post a link to the app tommorow cause I was just browsing apps and I found it online.

TwitVid
Well you guys all know what this is it’s a really simple app that allows you to record a new video or choose an old one and post it to twitter. This app you can find in the app world I am now sure if there is a way to download it from online but if you guys know a way comment and tell me.

I have many more apps but it would take all day so if you guys have any problems just comment and I will help you as best as possible.

New twitter app for Blackberry

Looks like blackberry is starting to get some twitter love. There is a new twitter app called betwitt and its not perfect but its not bad either. It does support list which is good cause there is not that many apps that support it. It is lacking basic features such as photo support,location,and shrink url but for some reason it doesn’t have any of these. It was just released so I will give it a break but in future updates I do expect all those features. But not bad for a new release hopefully it gets better overtime and catch up to ubertwitter but right now its one of those apps that could be so good but they just didn’t go through with it.
