It seems that the folks at BBhybrids have managed to get there hands on some leaked versions of Poynt. There are different version and I only have the 4.5(8300) version of Poynt. There are many version for different OS’s and phones. You can try it on whatever you device and OS you have.

I hate writing a bad post about something but this is just asking for it. There are some leaked pics of the new Bada UI and when you see them you will see why this is a EPIC FAIL. If you look at the first few pics it stole the iphones dialer and scrub bar, Androids widgets, and for some reason Symbians icons which I don’t really know why you would want to copy symbian. I mean its not bad but its not good either. I mean don’t get me wrong it looks great and I see what they are trying to do here take some good parts of different mobile operating systems and put them together and create one good one. I guess we will just have to wait until it launches to really know.

So Google have written a blog post confirming a Google Phone is in existence. Before you get excited though, read the blog post:
At Google, we are constantly experimenting with new products and technologies, and often ask employees to test these products for quick feedback and suggestions for improvements in a process we call dogfooding (from “eating your own dogfood”). Well this holiday season, we are taking dogfooding to a new level.
We recently came up with the concept of a mobile lab, which is a device that combines innovative hardware from a partner with software that runs on Android to experiment with new mobile features and capabilities, and we shared this device with Google employees across the globe. This means they get to test out a new technology and help improve it.
Unfortunately, because dogfooding is a process exclusively for Google employees, we cannot share specific product details. We hope to share more after our dogfood diet.
You should have noticed the device is not built by Google but by a partner – reportedly HTC – who build a number of devices for a number of manufacturers. As Mashable discusses, the device sounds like the HTC Passion, which is scheduled for an early 2010 launch. Does it still make it a Google Phone? Is it a “Google Phone” if it has the Google branding (which we don’t know yet) but another identical phone exists without the Google branding but say, Motorola’s? I’d argue yes, but lets be blunt about it, it’s no iPhone.

Well, ok then. Got a new BlackBerry Curve 8530 and want a newer OS then what is on it now? 5.0.0.386 has now leaked online and is said to be the OS that TELUS will officially launch with. Again, not technically offcial as of yet but could end up being. They’ve revamped the Curve, Storm, and Bold – why would they stop at the Pearl? Thanks to CrackBerry and Salomondrin, we get our first look at what the next generation Pearl (9100, also known as the “Stratus” or “Striker”) will look like. Though the SureType keyboard is the same (barring some font differences), the design and trackpad are symbols of RIM’s new direction.
