Looks like the rumors where true with Apple acquiring Lala which is a streaming music service that allows you to stream 7 million songs over the internet much like pandora. Now what I want to know is what Apple is going to use the service for maybe just a streaming music app maybe a service like the zune pass where you can listen to unlimited streams for a certain price. Guess where going to have to wait and see.
Fring now supports video calling but sadley the iphone doesn’t have a front facing camera so this maybe a reason for Apple to put in a front facing camera or a hint. It only works over WiFi so for right now your stuck. Fring said it will add two-way mobile video calling when apple adds a camera. Also I thought it was wierd that it is available for the ipod touch so that may be a good hint towards the spring refresh we heard about.
Tweetie 2.1, the latest version of the popular iPhone Twitter client, went live in the app store today. As we mentioned in our preview earlier this week, new features include support for Twitter Lists, the new TwitterTwitter retweets feature and geolocation. The new version is free to existing Tweetietweetie 2 users. As we wrote in our complete review: Lists support is a big deal and thus far, it looks like Tweetie 2 for the iPhone handles the process in a very robust and intuitive way. When you click on the “More” tab in Tweetie 2, you are now presented with a listing of every list you subscribe to (whether you created it or just subscribe to it), making it easy to view the contents of that list with one click… Twitter’s native retweeting feature was implemented in many of the beta versions of Tweetie 2, but was disabled in the first shipping version because the feature hadn’t been rolled out extensively. Now that the new Retweet system is in full effect, it’s back in Tweetie 2. When you view your profile, you now have an option to view your retweets, retweets by others, and even your tweets, retweeted.

In a bit of interesting iPhone news via MacRumors, word has come out that a new iPhone has shown up in usage records… pointing to the fact that the next generation iPhone is indeed out in the wild for testing.
The iPhone App Developers over at Pandav noticed an identifier for an unreleased version of the iPhone in an analytics report provided to them by Pinch Media. With the latest and greatest iPhone (the 3GS) tagged as ‘iPhone 1,2′, a mystery phone showing up as ‘iPhone 3,1′ showed up in said records… thus, starting the rumor and speculation.
Could this mean an early 2010 next-gen iPhone launch? Heck no…It’s way too early to say, and there’s not enough evidence to say so. In the past we’ve noticed similar reports roughly 8 months prior to an actual launch. If I was a betting man I’d have to put money on a summer 2010 launch for anything new on the iPhone front. Sure would be awesome to get your hands on a new iPhone in early 2010 though, wouldn’t it?
Whatever you happen to believe… the next-gen iPhone appears to be out there in the wild. First one to capture a legit ‘Mr. Blurrycam’ will get a high-five from me. Oh, yeah!

day after Thanksgiving, which this year falls on November 27th, is also known as Black Friday, and it marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping craze. Capitalizing on one of the busiest shopping days of the year, Apple has announced a “special Apple one-day shopping event” on November 27.
The company posted a teaser saying the following: “Come back to the Apple Online Store this Friday for a special one-day-only shopping event. You’ll find lots of great iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas — all with free shipping.”
So there you have it; if you don’t know what to do with your extra cash, here’s a chance to blow it all on Apple’s gadgetry (hopefully at a good discount).

Here we go with the ipod rumors. Reportedly there is supposed to be a spring refresh for the ipods and one of those refreshes is going to be for the ipod touch, that apple is going to add a camera which that was supposed to happen in back in september and instead we saw one on the nano(which. Still don’t know why they did that). Some people said that apple had pushed back the ipod touches with cameras cause of some issues well this may be that push back you never know but I think that it’s going to happen maybe not in spring but he ipod touches are going to get a camera.
